I decided to visit the Eta Upsilon (http://www.sigmapi.org/chapterServices/chapter_info.cfm?id=20&grandChapterID=183) (UC Irvine) house while I'm in town on business. So, I find their house using the map (http://www.sigpi.net/index.php?pageid=chaptermap&search_type=address&city=brentwood&state=tn&search_radius=200) on this site. Get there via the GPS in my iPhone. I get there to find a house, but it didn't look like a fraternity house. The only reason I knew it was a house was because a truck sitting in front of it had Sigma Pi letter in the back window.

I knock on the door... "Hey, are you a Sigma Pi?" An hour later were sharing stories at a local brewery while we ate dinner. Me, Alex, his beautiful girlfriend (909!), Cole and Eric (think that's right). Come to find out, they are moving their "house". I'm going to go check out their new place later this week.

As usual, an excellent time meeting new Brothers. Thanks for the hospitality guys!

BTW... Seems they have a redneck among them (well sort of). He likes country music and turns into a "cave man" at parties. This guy, I've gotta meet. I may have to haul him back to WV with me. Too bad I left my David Allen Coe t-shirt back home.

Several years ago I was in the SIMI Valley on business and stopped in the UC Los Angeles(don't know the chapter), visited a while. Took four of them to dinner. Man they were some homely rascals. I think they spent 18 out of 24 hours on the beach. It was neat just to drop in.

I did the same thing to them that a brother did to us once when we were in the sky castle. Had the same results. I loved it.
