I'm sitting in our field office in the shipyard this morning in a podunk town in south Texas, and a gentleman walks in and asks if he can drop an extension cord through the window of our office to provide power to something. I'm wearing a lanyard around my neck that has WVU on it and the guy asks me if I'm from WV. I relate that I am and he says that he is too. He goes on to tell me that he is from Logan and I mention that I went to school not too far from there at Tech. There is an audible sound as the world shrinks a bit and he says that he too went to Tech and then mentions he was in a fraternity at the school. I say what a coinscidence, I was in a fraternity as well. There is another sound as the world shrinks yet again when Dennis, as I now know his name to be, says he was in Sigma Pi, Gamma Xi. Beaming, I tell him that I was also in Sigma Pi.
