At any fraternity we often throw around the term "brother" or "brotherhood" seriously what does it mean to you?
I'll start: To me my brothers are my friends.

They are the guy I can call on if **** happens, like totaling my car, and they will help me do what I need to do

I believe that brotherhood is so much more than a friendship in that it binds us together. There are many people out there that I was once friends with, but now are not in my life. Those type of people will come an go. My brothers will be with me for the rest of my life.
It is the common thread of brotherhood that allows each of us to share a Homecoming weekend with a group of men almost twice our age and learn from their life experiences. Also, for us to share ours with the younger generation. Knowing that no matter what, we are family.

Much like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart's opinion regarding obscenity - I shall not today attempt further to define the feelings I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description; and perhaps I could never succeed in intelligibly doing so. But I know it when I see it.
