I am a physician (diagnostic radiology) practicing at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO. This is also where I grew up. My wife, Jerris, and daughter Amy, 17, live on some rural acreage about 10 miles from town. I have another daughter, Kelli, 29, who is an athletic trainer and PE teacher in Ozark, MO.
From 1970 to 1975 I attended the University of Missouri, Rolla which is now known as Missouri S & T and lived in the Alpha Iota chapter house all five years. I attended the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine and did my post graduate training at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis. I have been back in West Plains since 1987.
There are also several other Sigma Pi men from West Plains who attended MO S&T.
Amy may attend the Univ. of Mo at Columbia after high school. I have encouraged her to consider going through sorority rush. I feel going Greek is one of the best ways of maximizing the college experience, and encourage all Sigma Pi brothers who are now in school to likewise take advantage of every minute and opportunity available.
