Responsibilities
Operates and implements all operational SOC infrastructure and procedures
Assist in the development and sustainment of SOC policy and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining all security settings and configurations for systems and their corresponding or associated software within the SOC’s AOR, including McAfee ePO servers, firewalls, VPNs, IDSs, auditing and anti-virus software
Monitors HBSS, VPNs, server logs, firewall logs, intrusion detection logs, EMS and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity
Manage connection security for local area networks, wide area networks, web sites, corporate intranets/extranets/portals, and e-mail communications with the SOC AOR
Ensures that IA processes are incorporated into the day-to-day operation of the TNOSC and LNSCs.
Performs process audits
Experience with VBScript or Windows Script preferred
Provides support to the Service Desk for Incident Management
Assists the development and documentation of IA processes, procedures, and policies for the IA team
Maintains IA processes, procedures, and policies for the IA team
Coordinates with other functional service owners and TNOSC and LNSC leaders as necessary
Assist in establishing and maintaining of IA metrics.
Ensures incidents are properly investigated, responded to, remediated and reported.
Responsible for managing the collection, maintenance, disposal, and security of evidence and property to preserve the chain of custody
Prepares and maintains computer and paper files and reports documenting the collection, storage, and handling of evidence and property to properly document the chain of custody
Knowledge of McAfee HBSS components and modules
