I am in charge of a club focused on nonpartisan politics and debating called Junior State of America. It is brand new at my school and we actually got one of our kids elected to the governor position, which means she is in charge of every high school chapter of JSA for the entire state of Arizona. This is huge considering no one from Yuma does anything and she is only a sophomore. Well, she also just applied for a summer school program through the national club to receive dual credit at Stanford. The problem is that she is in need of financial help. It costs $4400 just for the program, not including any extra monies for the activities beyond school or the trip to even get to Stanford. If you or someone you know would be willing to donate, please visit www.jsa.kintera.org (http://www.jsa.kintera.org) type in Carolina Ramirez and she is the one from Somerton, AZ. Let's make her dream a reality.
