Gentlemen,

I hope you are having a great summer break? I am currently working on the
IFC recruitment trifold and I need input from you.

In two short sentences, please reply to this statement. "Being in a
fraternity means.....". I would appreciate if you reply to this ASAP or by
Friday.

Thank you,

Shola Ajiboye
VP, Public Relations and Philanthropy

Figured I'd open this up to anyone who has a good idea.

Wasn't sure what exactly to put.

being part of something bigger.
kindred spirits with a shared history.
I have something to do in this ****hole town.
I have a network of brothers throughout the land.
I know who always has my back.

I can do this all night, and if you can't then you should take a step back and answer the question for yourself. And if you can't then why not? I've found with fraternities, as with many things in life, you get back what you put in (and then some).

I can argue political semantics with Neville all night long.
I can read the back and forth banter of Neville vs. everyone else all night long.

Ok now for a serious ones.

contributing to the collegiate experience in a positive social manner.
being exposed to opportunities that may be harder to come by in a limited social network.

Most people go through life with maybe one person that they can depend on for anything. I have the luxury of having a house full. The list of people that I can call if something bad happens to me is endless. I have been on both sides of the call about a car being broken or not enough money to make the bills this month. Every time the answer has been, "I'll be there as soon as possible." I look at the people around me everyday in my work place, and I wonder how they survive. How can they get out of bed everyday and not have a family of brothers out there that are willing to stand up with them. We are family and there is not taking that back.
