MINOOKA — Mr. Christopher Edward Tredennick, 25, of Minooka, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, due to cardiac complications.

He was the adored son of Ron and Wendy Tredennick; cherished "big brother" of Michael, Jeffrey and Sara Tredennick; beloved nephew of Cindy and Gaylord Garner, Chris and Rita Saraceno, Bill and Stephanie Fitzpatrick; loved cousin of Jessica, Ashley and Justin Garner, Christopher, Lizzy and Alex Saraceno, Riley, Rece and Reid Fitzpatrick; adopted in love by Marlin and Adrienne, Lauren (John), Stephany (Sean) and Taylor Hartman; devoted companion of Ashley Swanson and a treasured friend to many. Also surviving are his grandparents Barbara (Tom) Fitzpatrick.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Granny and Grandpa Keiser; grandparents, Nana and Papa "Ted" Saraceno and aunt, Mary Fitzpatrick.

Chris was a 2002 graduate of Minooka Community High School. He was a 2008 graduate of Eastern Illinois University and a proud member of Sigma Pi Fraternity. He also was an accomplished Eagle Scout of Troop No. 464 of Minooka. He was a dedicated White Sox, Notre Dame and Bears fan and an avid golfer.

There were no strangers to Chris, only friends he had not yet met. He started each day with a smile and a zest for life. His kind and compassionate nature was expressed through giving. There wasn't a job too big or too small that he wouldn't volunteer to help with. How lucky we are to have known someone who is so very hard to say good bye to.

Christopher Edward Tredennick will be lying in state from 10 a.m. until the time when service begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at United Methodist Church in Minooka, 205 W. Church St. Interment will be private.

A scholarship fund is going to be established in Chris's name for the Sigma Pi Fraternity at Eastern Illinois University. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for that disbursement.
