JOB SUMMARY:This position is located in the Geosciences Division in the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The Geosciences Division (GD) conceives, plans and conducts exploratory and applied research, in conjunction with Focus Area Leaders, in the areas of geosciences related to energy production (e.g., carbon sequestration; unconventional fuels). The GD provides skills, expertise, equipment, and facilities to conduct research in support of FE programs in the areas of geological and geophysical sciences and hydrology of energy producing systems and geological carbon sequestration technologies, environmental cleanup technologies, and geological and geographic information systems associated with energy production and geological sequestration.
