Special Metals Corporation has a Human Resources Generalist opening at its Huntington, WV facility. Ideal candidate will have a broad working knowledge of organizational planning, employee involvement, recruiting, training and development, performance management, labor relations and compliance.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing an organization-wide communication strategy to support business objectives, change initiatives and employee involvement
Recruiting and placement for all positions, including corporate and local development programs
Continuously improve HR processes to more effectively deliver results
Serve as backup to labor relations function
Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent required; masters degree preferred; PHR/SPHR is a plus
Minimum of three years HR generalist experience with proven track record of success and increased levels of accountability
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing to effectively handle sensitive issues
Broad knowledge of labor relations with a proven track record of building positive relationships between management and union at all levels in the organization
Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills
