Brother Micheal Bushaw

It has come to my attention that Brother Micheal Bushaw (known as Sparky) passed away this morning. I currently do not have the details.

Sparky has given the majority of his life to this fraternity, attending countless convocations, chapter house meetings, and leadership events.

He will truly be missed.

We have confirmed this with some of the Georgia alum. He was apparently having heart issues but that is about all that is known at this time. Thanks for this information Charles. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Most likely. He was a whitewater regular.

One time I helped pull him into our boat after his boat flipped. The look on his face was pure fear. I loved that man. He was an ideal Sigma Pi.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I had only been around Sparky just that weekend but he made you feel like you knew him a lot longer. As you say, he was a great guy and after our first and only meeting, I walked away with the same opinion. My sympathies go out to his family, friends and fellow Sigma Pi brothers.

There will be a rosary starting at 6:00 PM, which should last 30 minutes. Visitation to follow ending at 8:00 PM.
